Irongirl Texas Triathlon

Once again, Brighter Tomorrows is partnering with Irongirl Texas on July 20, 2008 in Las Colinas.   The Irongirl Texas is in its third year in North Texas.  An all women’s triathlon open to first timers and the experienced, the event combines swimming, biking and running.   Says Marti Greer, organizer, “ The Irongirl Texas Triathlon gives women the opportunity to be empowered!  The atmosphere is so electric and inviting and everyone from the volunteers to the participants love the event!  We chose Brighter Tomorrows as our benefiting charity because they stand for the same thing as we do - empowering people to stand strong on their own. “ All participants have the option of creating their own webpage to help raise funds that will enable Brighter Tomorrows to provide supportive services for those in crisis.  Awards will be given to the top three fundraisers. Brighter Tomorrows Scramble

Mark it on your calendar!  Friday, September 12, 2008 is the date and Riverchase Golf Course in Coppell, TX is the place for the Brighter Tomorrow's Scramble.  The fun begins at 1:30pm with a shotgun start.  Sponsorships are available.  Call 972-263-0506 for details.
