Brighter Tomorrows operates three thrift stores which provide needed items for our programs, as well as sell donated items which help fund our agency services throughout southwestern Dallas County. Please deliver your donated items to the location nearest you during the hours of operation; items should NOT be left outside the buildings during non-working hours.
Hours of operation: 9am to 5pm, Tuesday through Saturday, closed holidays.

Our stores rely on donations. Items accepted are gently used clothing, no stains, tears or rips, working household appliances including TV's, furniture that is not broken or has no stains or torn upholstery. Due to Health Department regulations we are unable to accept mattresses. Brighter Tomorrows does not have the capability to maintain or repair items.

The DeSoto location also assists the residents of DeSoto with TXU electric bills and food pantry items.

AN EASY WAY TO SHOP AND DONATE!
The Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program will donate $1 million annually to non profit agencies. You can help Brighter Tomorrows by taking this letter Click here with our bar code to your local Kroger. At checkout ask the cashier to scan the bar code together with your KrogerPlus card. The program runs from May 1, 2008 to April 30, 2009. (This replaces the Sharecard). Every time you shop at Kroger and use your enrolled KrogerPlus Card, Kroger will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchases to the fund.
