Brighter Tomorrows is always in need of
donated items, such as paper and household
goods, cleaning supplies, clothing, and furniture.
All donations are tax deductible. Gently used
items are accepted at the Brighter Tomorrows
thrift stores in Grand Prairie and DeSoto.
How can I donate my items?
You can bring your gently-used, sellable items such
as clothing, household goods, appliances, toys, etc.
to one of our Resale Shops. The items are sold and
all funds go to help sustain the work of
If you would like to donate items for the shelter or office such as toilet paper, paper towels, towels, cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc. then you can ship or deliver those items to:

If your church, community group or business has a large number of collected items, please call us and we will arrange to pick up at your location.

Support Our Work
Over the past year, Brighter Tomorrows has provided emergency
safe shelter to over 425 people.
217 of them were children.
7074 emergency hotline calls have been answered, in our shelter, this past year.
411 calls have been received for sexual assault.
180 abusers received prevention education through our Batterer Intervention Resources.
Help us continue to serve victims of domestic violence who are in immediate danger. Your financial gift gives our client's support, encouragement and a fresh start to a brighter future.
$100 provides 40 meals to shelter clients.
$500 provides play therapy counseling for four children for a month.
$1,000 provides 408 meals to shelter clients.
$2,500 provides emergency safe shelter for a woman and her three children for a month.
