Items accepted are:

 

Gently used clothing

(no stains, tears, or rips)

 

Working household items such as housewares and appliances (with all connectors),

functioning household furniture, and

HD-Ready/Smart TV's

Please, no broken or major damages. 

Brighter Tomorrows does not have the capability to maintain or repair items.  

 

Due to Health Department regulations,

we are unable to accept used mattresses and box springs.   

 

We cannot accept computers or computer peripherals and televisions.

 

The DeSoto thrift store location

also assists the residents of DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster and Cedar Hill

with TXU electric bills.
